Full-field 6K BSI sensor

Dual Pixel CMOS AF II with EOS iTR AF X
Enjoy improved, faster autofocus technology. Wide and highly sensitive face, eye, head, body and animal tracking covering the entire sensor. Face-only detection and customisable settings give you complete control so focus never stops.
Compact, ergonomic and familiar design
The familiar and improved design offers improved ergonomics, connectivity, a redesigned stick handle and multifunctional slipper. Use the top grip or build your own rig and shoot with flexibility to your taste, even in challenging conditions.
Professional recording formats with high frame rates
Among others, 12-bit Cinema RAW Light LT recording up to 6K 30P and 4:2:2 10-bit recording up to 4K 120P. Oversampled 4K recording is available in XF-AVC format and enhanced XF-AVC S/XF-HEVC S (MP4) format, with detailed metadata and file naming structures for all options. HDMI RAW output compatible with external recorders.
RF mount
When you need unrivalled optical performance, real-time lens metadata and highly sensitive autofocus/optical image stabilisation systems, take advantage of the latest fixed focal length lenses, zoom lenses and cinema lenses. The Canon Lens Adapter makes it easy to use your PL and EF lenses.
Connectivity without compromise
Professional I/O built into the chassis includes 12G-SDI, HDMI, 2x mini-XLR, microphone input, remote control and timecode. Built-in Wi-Fi/Ethernet enables real-time IP-based data transmission (SRT/RTSP) and remote control via XC protocol, as well as Multi-Camera Control application. It can be upgraded with Canon's multifunctional slipper.
Technology of the future
Real-time lens metadata output and recording for use in virtual productions and visual effects with support for Unreal Engine and After Effects, including distortion correction data. And Canon's RF 5.2mm F2.8L Dual Fisheye lens ensures immersive VR experiences.
