For a large amount of power on the go, or for a backup power solution at home, look to the Power 500 Portable Power Station from DJI. Powered by a built-in LFP (lithium ferrophosphate) battery with a 512Wh capacity, it provides up to 1000W of output through a variety of outlets and ports. Use it while camping to power lamps and small appliances. Content creators can use it on location to recharge drones and cameras. You can even use it at home as a UPS for your laptops or Wi-Fi router. However you use it, you can do so with peace of mind, as DJI engineered the Power 500 with multiple safety features.
Seven Power Ports
From cameras to coffee makers, the below list of seven power outputs support a wide-ranging list of mobile devices and appliances.
- Two USB-C PD 3.0 (Maximum of 100W across both ports)
- Two USB-A (Maximum of 24W across both ports)
- Two AC outlets
- One SDC Lite port
Safe Charging
- Intelligent Battery Management System (BMS): If built-in safe-charging metrics are exceeded, the BMS will automatically shut the Power 500 down, and auto-restart it when the power status normalizes.
- Temperature Sensors: A series of 11 temperature sensors continually monitor heat dissipation, maintaining effective charging, even in conditions with temperatures up to 40 °C.
- Power Outage Protection: Throughout the Power 500 are 10 fuses to provide short circuit protection.
Fast-Charge Drone Batteries
With optional(sold separetly) DJI Power SDC charging cables, you can use the SDC Lite port on the Power 500 to fast-charge various DJI drone batteries.
Mavic 3: Go from 10% to 95% charge in approximately 32 minutes
Air 3: Go from 10% to 95% charge in approximately 30 minutes
Inspire 3 (TB51): Go from 10% to 95% charge in approximately 28 minutes
Matrice 30 (TB30): Go from 10% to 95% charge in approximately 32 minutes
UPS Mode
The Power 500 will default to UPS Mode when it is drawing power from an AC outlet and a device is charging via one of the Power 500 AC outlets. In this mode, if grid power were to fail, the UPS system would power the connected device within 0.02 seconds for seamless power availability.
4-Way Recharging
Recharge the Power 500 four ways: Grid, USB-C, Solar, and Car. Charging via an AC outlet is done with the included power cable, but USB-C, solar, and car charging require optional accessories that are not included.
Grid Power: This is the fastest method that simply requires an available AC wall outlet. In standard recharge mode, up to 270W are delivered to the Power 500, while up to 540W are provided in fast recharge mode. Recharging to 100% takes approximately 70 minutes, or just 50 minutes to get to 80%.
USB-C: The two USB-C ports offer output and input power. As power inputs, you can use both simultaneously with optional power adapters and cables for up to 200W of power input. Using this method, the Power 500 can fully recharge in approximately 3 hours.
Solar Power: This method requires up to 3 optional compatible solar panels and either a DJI Power Solar Panel Adapter Module (MPPT) or a DJI Power Car Power Outlet to SDC Power Cable. When using solar panels, recharging is optimized via intelligent real time voltage monitoring.
Car Power: This method requires attaching the optional DJI Power Car Power Outlet to SDC Power Cable (12/24V) to a car charger, fully recharging the Power 500 in approximately 6 hours.
