Crystal clear OLED touch screen
Want to capture the best moments of your day? Thanks to the 1000 nits peak brightness of the rear OLED screen, you can see everything clearly. The front and rear high-brightness OLED touchscreens let you check that every shot is colourful and contrasty. The screens are larger; thanks to a narrower bezel, the screen-to-body ratio is 16% higher. [3]
Tempered glass ensures durability, and thanks to the anti-fog coating, touch controls are responsive even when wet. [4] By enabling the Always On Display function, the recording duration and parameters are displayed on both screens for lower power consumption. Important information can be viewed at a glance, while there's no distracting glare when shooting at night.
Leave the colours to the 10-bit D-Log M mode
The Action 5 Pro's front and rear touchscreens let you view 10-bit D-Log M footage with colour recovery, so you can adjust colour and brightness at a glance for high-quality raw footage.
With 10-bit D-Log M and 10-bit HLG modes, you can achieve even greater colour depth.[5] Excellent light/shadow detail ensures you can capture outstanding shots.
40 MP action shots
To capture stunning shots, just press the shutter button and you can even take cropped pictures afterwards. Each shot is roughly 40 megapixels (7294×5472) or 8K (16:9) resolution, which is around 4 times as detailed as the previous generation.

155° ultra-wide angle of view
The 155° ultra-wide angle of view [6] allows for more vivid shots and videos with a dynamic perspective.
4:3 aspect ratio enhances every pixel
Now you get even more compositional space and editing flexibility, as videos can be recorded in 4:3 aspect ratio at 4K/120fps, 4K full resolution (3840×2880).
Stunning 32x slow-motion footage
With 32x super slow-motion, viewers' jaws also take longer to drop. The Action 5 Pro's high-performance 4nm chip enables frame-by-frame analysis and 4x frame interpolation to achieve up to 32x slow-motion; [7] so you can film at 1080p/240fps and then shoot video at 960fps.

DJI has brought theming to the world of action cameras. Action 5 Pro now intelligently senses the position of the subject and dynamically adjusts the composition. The subject can be kept centered in every frame, whether shooting horizontally or vertically. [8]
4-hour power supply
We are setting a new benchmark for battery performance in action cameras. A single battery now gives you up to four hours of continuous use [1] With 50% longer battery life than Action 4, you'll never miss a great moment again.
In extreme cold, even at temperatures as low as -20°C, you'll get up to 3.6 hours [9] of recording time.

360° HorizonSteady
HorizonSteady not only effectively reduces vibration, but also corrects 360° of horizontal tilt, easily neutralising intense jolts and rotations. HorizonBalancing can correct horizontal tilts up to ±45° and supports 4K/60fps video recording.
RockSteady 3.0
This mode effectively reduces shake while preserving the dynamic effect of motion, giving you a more immersive first-person perspective and supports video recording at up to 4K/120fps.
Mimo app: smart recording and editing
Once the Mimo app is wirelessly connected to your Action 5 Pro, you can preview the camera and edit settings from within the app. It has a number of editing templates and a one-touch edit function, while editing does not require downloading footage, saving storage space on your phone. The Mimo app also includes a variety of editing features for action cameras, such as Sports Dashboard, Vivid Underwater and InvisiStick.

- SuperNight mode supports only 8-bit colour depth and a maximum frame rate of 30 fps. It does not support HorizonBalancing and HorizonSteady, 155° ultra-wide angle of view or 4:3 aspect ratio.
- Compared to the Osmo Action 4.
- Water-resistance of the front and rear displays and lens protection glass is ensured by the AF coating, but its effectiveness can be compromised by accidental scratches.
- The 10-bit D-Log M and 10-bit HLG colour modes can be enabled in normal video mode, slow motion mode and Hyperlapse mode.
- For a 155° angle of view, the stabilisation modes must be switched off.
- To record 32x super slow motion, first record a normal 1080p/240fps video. Once recorded, you can apply the slow motion effect with a single tap on the camera's playback interface. Slow motion can also be applied to 4K/2.7K/1080p standard video recorded at 100fps or higher.
- Scene Tracking mode is only available for landscape orientation shooting and supports 16:9 and 9:16 aspect ratio video up to 2.7K/60fps.

- Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS) cannot be used in Timelapse and Slow Motion modes. HorizonSteady only supports 1080p/2.7K video (≤60fps) at 16:9 aspect ratio, and HorizonBalancing only supports 1080p/2.7K/4K video (≤60fps) at 16:9 aspect ratio.
