Small and ultra-light
Comfortable to wear
The DJI Mic Mini transmitter is small and ultra-light, weighing just 10g [5], making it comfortable to wear and discreet. It can be worn in multiple ways thanks to its magnetic attachment and clip-on top, it doesn't pull down the collar and doesn't turn out even on a thin T-shirt, giving it a more aesthetic look on the recording.
All in one, you can take it with you wherever you go
The compact DJI Mic Mini is easy to store thanks to its innovative design. Two transmitters, a receiver, mobile phone adapters and windscreens can be neatly stored in the charging case. The windscreens on the transmitters do not need to be removed when stored in the case. The complete set is convenient to use and easy to store.
High quality sound
Rich sound detail
The DJI Mic Mini supports audio recording in all directions. The receiver can be paired with two transmitters simultaneously. The microphone reproduces excellent detailed sound when recording multiple audio sources, so you always get high-quality sound.
Two-level noise filtering
Basic
The DJI Mic Mini offers two noise cancellation levels to suit different environments. [3]The Basic level is perfect for quiet indoor environments, reducing fan, air conditioner and echo noise while maintaining sound clarity.
Strong
The Strong level is perfect for noisy environments and significantly reduces ambient noise for clearer sound.
When used with wind sensors, the DJI Mic Mini can significantly reduce wind noise and other types of noise. It provides excellent performance in windy locations and noisy environments, such as during livestreaming and vlogging.
Automatic limitation to prevent delimitation
When auto limiting is enabled, [4] the DJI Mic Mini automatically reduces the volume when the audio input is too high, preventing clipping and providing excellent sound quality. This is particularly useful for content creators.
5-step amplifier adjustment
The gain can be quickly adjusted in five steps using the dial on the receiver, making operation convenient and efficient.
Mono and stereo recording
DJI Mic Min supports both mono and stereo (two-channel) recording. The sound recorded by the two transmitters can be output separately or combined in a single track for greater flexibility in post-production.
Safety bar for extra security
The DJI Mic Mini can record in dual band by enabling the safety band in the DJI Mimo app. The main band records at normal volume and the second band records at 6 dB lower volume, which helps protect your voice from problems such as clipping and distortion. This ensures that you can record usable sound even at fluctuating volumes during live performances.
Longer battery life, stable transmission
48-hour battery case [1] to forget about frequent charging
Maximum operating time of transmitter and receiver 11.5 and 10.5 hours respectively. [6] A fully charged case provides approximately 3.6 full charges for a total of 48 hours of continuous use, [1] making the DJI Mic Mini ideal for long trips, interviews and other intensive use scenarios.
5-minute quick charge
Just five minutes of charging provides approximately one hour of use for both the receiver and transmitter, [7] significantly increasing the efficiency of charging. With support for 1.2 C fast charging, the receiver and transmitter can be fully charged in about 90 and 100 minutes respectively [8], allowing you to get back to work quickly.
Automatic power-saving mode of the transmitter [9]
The transmitter automatically switches to sleep mode if it does not detect a signal from the receiver. As soon as it detects a signal again, it wakes up and reconnects to the receiver. This function allows you to wear the transmitter for longer periods of time without having to switch it on and off frequently.
Automatic switch-off
In the DJI Mimo app, you can set the transmitter and receiver to turn off automatically after a certain period of inactivity. If this feature is enabled on both devices, they will automatically turn off if they are not connected for more than 15 minutes. This prevents premature battery drain and leaves more power for creativity.
Stable noise filtering, 400 m transmission
Sound can be transmitted up to 400 metres [10] and thanks to the DJI Mic Mini's strong anti-interference capability, recording remains stable and high quality even in busy outdoor environments such as a busy street or a crowded event.
Compatible with the Osmo ecosystem and multiple devices at the same time
DJI OsmoAudio™
Direct connection for premium sound quality
The transmitter supports receiverless, direct connection to Osmo Action 5 Pro, Osmo Action 4 or Osmo Pocket 3. The DJI OsmoAudio™ connection ecosystem delivers premium sound quality, simplifying setup and workflow for more effective creative work.
Compatibility with multiple devices for versatile use
The receiver is compatible with cameras, smartphones, computers and tablets. [11] Connected to the camera via an audio cable (3.5mm TRS), it supports simultaneous on/off switching with the camera. When connected to a smartphone, it allows external playback without unplugging the connector and can be charged from a smartphone. When the receiver is connected to a smartphone and to a power source via USB-C port, both devices can be charged simultaneously during use. [12]
Easy wireless recording
The DJI Mic Mini is compatible with the DJI Neo drone. Once the drone is connected to the DJI Fly app, you can connect it to the DJI Mic Mini via Bluetooth on your smartphone and record audio. The DJI Fly app also automatically eliminates propeller noise and merges the audio track with the recording. This ensures clear sound even when recording vlogs at lower altitudes. Create high-quality content with outstanding audio and visuals on the fly.
In addition, the transmitter can be connected directly to smartphones via Bluetooth without a receiver. The DJI Mic Mini offers a more convenient audio recording solution for creators using mobile live streaming and third-party apps [13] for filming.
The DJI Mimo App for operational efficiency
When the transmitter is connected to your phone via Bluetooth, you can update the transmitter firmware directly through the Mimo app. If you connect your smartphone to the receiver using a USB-C adapter, [14] you can update the entire system with a single tap in the app. Noise cancellation, automatic noise limiting and recording start/stop settings are also available in the app.
- The measurement was performed using the DJI Mic Mini (2 TX + 1 RX + charger bag) in combination with a fully charged charger case, with noise cancellation turned off, in interference-free conditions, during close-range audio recording, with both transmitters connected to the receiver and the receiver connected to the camera via the camera's audio cable (3.5 mm TRS).
- DJI Mic Mini transmitters can be connected directly to certain DJI products (one TX for Osmo Action 4, up to two TX for Osmo Pocket 3 and Osmo Action 5 Pro). Transmitter battery life is approximately 7-8 hours when connected directly. In the future, support will be extended to other DJI products.
- The Strong and Basic noise cancellation levels can be set via the DJI Mimo app or directly on the product's control panel when using an Osmo Action 5 Pro, Osmo Action 4 or Osmo Pocket 3 connected to one or more transmitters via DJI OsmoAudio™ direct connection. When the transmitter is directly connected to a smartphone, the noise cancellation level cannot be set in the Mimo app; it is set to Strong by default.
- When the transmitter is used with the receiver, automatic limiting is enabled by default and can be turned on or off via the DJI Mimo app; when the transmitter is connected directly to a smartphone via Bluetooth, this feature is enabled by default and cannot be turned off. The feature can also be turned on or off directly from the product's control panel when using an Osmo Action 5 Pro, Osmo Action 4 or Osmo Pocket 3 connected to one or more transmitters via DJI OsmoAudio™ direct connection.
- The transmitter weight does not include the clip-on magnet.
- The measurement was performed with DJI Mic Mini (1 TX + 1 RX) with noise cancellation turned off, under interference-free conditions, during close-range audio recording, with the transmitter connected to the receiver and the receiver connected to the camera via the camera's audio cable (3.5 mm TRS).
- The measurement was performed in a controlled environment, with the transmitter and receiver batteries below 25% battery charge, 5 V output charger, noise cancellation switched off, under interference-free conditions, with close audio recording, both transmitters connected to the receiver and the receiver connected to the camera via the camera's audio cable (3.5 mm TRS).
- Measured in a controlled test environment.
- This function only works when the device is switched on. If the auto power off function for transmitter and receiver is enabled in the DJI Mimo app, both devices will automatically power off after 15 minutes if no pairing signal is detected.
