The camera mounts onto the cage using a single 1/4"-20 screw, and there are anti-twist pins and a pad on the base to prevent the camera from twisting or scratching. In addition to multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 accessory threads, the cage features several ARRI-style locating holes to prevent accessories from twisting when mounted on the cage. One side features an integrated NATO rail, and there is a shoe mount on top. Integrated strap slots allow you to add a separately available neck or wrist strap. A screwdriver for securing the camera screw is stored on the bottom of the cage.

Protect and secure the cables on your Canon EOS R5 C, R5, or R6 camera with this HDMI and USB Type-C Cable Clamp from SmallRig. The durable aluminum clamp is compatible with the SmallRig 2981 cage for the Canon EOS R5 or R6 camera. Designed to prevent the camera's HDMI and USB Type-C cables from accidentally disconnecting, this clamp attaches to the side of the cage using two M3 screws. The cables are secured with easy-to-grasp knurled 1/4"-20 screws. Each screw adjusts a sliding block that can be tightened to accommodate varying diameters. Two Allen wrenches are included to secure the screws.
