Wideband UHF spectrum

One of the outstanding features of the Deity Theos digital wireless microphone system is that it uses the wideband UHF spectrum instead of the crowded 2.4 GHz band. The frequencies range from 550-960 MHz.

Theos Digital Wireless also features interchangeable frequency ranges based on the phone's GPS/Firmware update. Now you can travel the world with a single set of wireless microphones.

Built-in clamp

The Deity Theos digital wireless microphone system also features a transmitter with a built-in voice recorder. The built-in recorder has both 24-bit and 32-bit floating point formats, so you never have to worry about gain staging on saved WAV files. Recordings are stored on a Micro SD card of up to 128GB, giving you plenty of space for your audio recordings.

The built-in recorder has an impressive EIN noise figure of -130 dBu (A-weighting, gain +30 dB, 150 ohms matching), putting it on par with the most expensive sound recorders in the film industry.

Wireless timecode synchronisation

The most unique feature of Theos is that the transmitter can be wirelessly synchronized natively with the Deity TC-1 timecode generator. The timecode ensures that the saved WAV files are synchronised with the master file during post-production. This feature is particularly useful for filmmakers who need to work with multiple cameras or devices. It ensures that audio and video files are perfectly synchronised, making the editing process much smoother. Alternatively, DBTX can be synchronised via the 3.5mm connector when using 3rd party timecode generators.

Colour LCD screen

One of the outstanding features of the Theos wireless system is the colour LCD screen that shows the status of the device. This screen makes it easy to monitor system operation, ensuring you always have a clear picture of sound levels, battery life and other critical information. This feature is particularly useful for filmmakers who need to work in different locations and lighting conditions.

Up to 14 hours of battery life

Theos Digital Wireless can provide up to 14 hours of battery life when used with the 3000mAh Deity AA battery at 10mW with the screen off.

The D2RX and DBTX can be powered externally via USB-C ports.
