The JJC LH-Z40F2 Lens Hood is specially designed to use with Nikon NIKKOR Z 40mm f/2 (SE), NIKKOR Z 40mm f/2 and NIKKOR Z 26mm f/2.8 Lenses. It prevents unwanted stray light from entering the lens by extending and shading the end of it and is crafted to suit the specific focal length of the lens perfectly. The hood features a non-glare matte finish on the interior surface to further prevent or limit lens flare. And no vignetting will show with the hood on. With the extended lens end, you will also get the added benefit of some extra protection from accidental impact. The whole lens hood maintains the aesthetic of the lens and camera system. In addition, the hood doesn't affect the use of a filter.

The main body of the lens hood is made of premium aluminum alloy, sturdy and durable; the bayonet-style mount is made of synthetic resin, which will not damage your lenses. The lens hood comes with a cap, which effectively prevents dust entering and protects from accidental impact.
